Make it PLUS+

The Plus Series of mods showcases my design philosophy for mods as a whole. A lot of my favorite games underutilize the potential of various mechanics on offer, or are maybe just too easy. Thus, the Plus Series aims to wring out all the exciting possibilities for gameplay that the developers missed in the original game whilst mostly using vanilla assets. That last design choice doubles as self-imposed limitation to keep mods from spiraling out of scope, but I will happily report that keeping to such limitations helps bring out the best in what's already there.

One final clarification: You may occasionally see the mods denoted with the "Plus+" suffix. This is because the official suffix for the mod is simply "Plus", but the visual graphic always contains a "+" symbol instead of the word spelled out. So sometimes they like to tag team together for fun! But the complete, official name for the mod does not contain the symbol.

Luigi's Mansion Plus

Luigi's Mansion Plus is a mod of the original Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube that adds quality of life improvements, provides sufficient challenge to players, and adds more money hidden in new locations. The goal of this mod is to wring out all the exciting possibilities for gameplay that the developers missed in the original game whilst strictly using vanilla assets. Portrait ghost rooms are more interesting. The ghost layouts in almost every room are changed, and there are overall a lot more scenarios that aren't present in the original game, such as fire and ice elemental ghosts present in the same room. It also adds an intense optional challenge: The Hidden Gauntlet—which is necessary to achieve A-Rank. The result is a much more difficult game, but only insofar as it draws out the original's full potential. There are also new gems, the speedy spirits are moved, and a new set of secret speedy spirits are hiding in the darkest rooms; players who have already scoured the mansion for treasure have a reason to explore again. And, you know how the Breaker Room locks during the blackout? Well, more rooms have been locked, creating a mini-labyrinth of sorts instead of the straight line to the Wardrobe Room. Don't get lost!

Frogger Plus logo

Frogger Plus

Frogger Plus is a revamped Frogger that aims to wring out all the exciting possibilities for gameplay and smooth out some of the rough edges. It aims to be difficult, but fair at the same time. With help from the FrogLord modding suite and the Blender plugin, the mod has completey custom locations to visit and explore.

The mod is currently in active development, however, there is a demo available to play right now!

Christmas Critters level card

Christmas Critters

I single level mod I drummed up for the holiday season, where Frogger searches around a festive and decorated Christmas tree! This is a single level with all six froglet colors to find. (Yup, gold frog too!)

Pikmin 2 Plus

This is the first Plus mod I ever created, back when I was learning modding for the first time; thus, it contains many rough edges. The mod is fully complete, however, I am not happy enough with the overall feel to make it public. Although, there is currently a crowdfund on Particular Discord that when 100% funded, would force me to release it.
